چکیده

The production of pro-inflammatory and anti-inflammatory cytokines, as well adipocyte differentiation fat accumulation in the 3T3-L1 mouse embryo fibroblast cell line human monocytic THP-1 were measured to determine antiadipogenic effects ethanolic extracts verjuice (unripe grape juice (Vitis vinifera L.)), Salvia officinalis L., Alchemilla vulgaris L. On both lines, three had much greater cytostatic than cytotoxic effects. With an IC50 505 μg/mL, S. highest effect on THP-1-derived macrophages. After treatment with 125 dramatically reduced LPS-induced NO generation macrophages from 80 μM control values after µg/mL. Furthermore, levels TNF-α IL-6 a dose-dependent manner reached at 250 decreased higher compared production. V. vinifera, officinalis, A. improved IL-10 32 pg/mL 86 pg/mL, 98 extract concentration µg/mL, respectively. 20% plant extracts. Taken together, these results suggest that likely exert their anti-obesity through actions modulation cytokine production, by reducing accumulation.

Characterization and anti-inflammatory activity of Vitis vinifera L. leaves in human keratinocytes

The skin constitutes the first barrier between our organism and the environment. The epidermis consists mainly by keratinocytes that play an essential role in epidermal renewal and skin's defence, actively participating in the cutaneous immune responses through the expression of a variety of cytokines/chemokines. Despite their protective role, keratinocytes are also relevant to the pathogenesis...
